Make You Feel My Love <3

Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan

When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love

When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one there to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

I know you haven’t made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I’ve known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong

I’d go hungry, I’d go black and blue
I’d go crawling down the avenue
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
To make you feel my love

The storms are raging on the rollin’ sea
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
You ain’t seen nothing like me yet

I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
Nothing that I wouldn’t do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
To make you feel my love

    • Peace,

Thank you for commenting. I absolutely love this song but the lyrics belong to Bob Dylan and the song is sung by Adele. Never want to take credit for the well deserved praise of someone else. Thanks again. Nykieria

  2. Adele has talent out the wazooo!

The truth is, I tend to love the lyrics of the songs she sings more than the actual music and with the exception of the following stanza:

I’d go hungry, I’d go black and blue
I’d go crawling down the avenue
    There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
To make you feel my love […]

…I love the lyrics to this song as well. The music? Not so much.

So Bob Dylan wrote this song huh?

Adele is a great singer! I love her song “Chasing Pavements” (music and lyrics).

    • Chasing Pavements!!! YES! That was the first song I heard by her and I’ve been listening ever since. I used her song in my second play. Bob Dylan wrote this and it’s the most romantic little ode. I was allowing my friend to listen to it and when they got to the crawling down the avenue part, I was like… welll maybe not all of that. lol. So I do have a question…. What’s up with Adele’s weight gain? It just struck me by surprise because its’ almost like she did it on purpose…..

      • Adele has always appeared to me to be just on the cusp of being a little over-weight. Having a baby did nothing to encourage a slimmer figure and I really don’t think she cares about it right now.

IMO, European artists with great talent (such as Adele) are spared the burden of having to live up the superficial dictates of the media regarding who is granted “Respect” and the spotlight for their talent and who is not, based on one’s body-type. IOW: the superficial dictates of the American media

For example: In Europe, I doubt a British Kelly Price would have ANY problem being recognized and embraced by throngs of Black AND White lovers of REAL music for her incredible talent, despite her weight. Those people LOVE real musci over there! End of stroy.

Here in America Kelly has to kick and scrape for any opportunity to *shine.*

        In Europe, Adele doesn’t.
