Love Is, Love Ain’t

I’ll be performing tonight with The Nalo Movement, please come out to this wonderful show.

July 8 – 9, 2011 at PushPush Theater!

“Love Is/Love Ain’t” has a thematic focus on what love looks like and how it manifests in the lives of black women, currently and historically. The women of NALO have crafted original pieces of drama, poetry, spoken word, song and dance to tackle topics ranging from sexuality to motherhood, dating to domestic violence, love and enslavement to love and hip-hop.

We look to move, touch, hug, hold, tickle, and caress our audience’s collective spirit. It promises to be entertaining, educational, and enlightening!

Show Times:

Friday, July 8 @ 8 p.m.
(doors open at 7:30)

Saturday, July 9 @ 7 p.m.

  1. Oh now see Nykieria, you make me wanna holla…lol

Wish i were there in your *HOT* city to attend the show tonight. But I can’t can’t .

However, I’m sending a quick email to my friends in the AtL metro area informing them of the event.

Btw: I checked out the website. Very attractive group of ladies. And if I may ask?

Are the women of *The NALO Movement* made up of straight and gay members?
